ABC chocolate fudge

This fudge is divine and not what I started out to make.  It was supposed to be a chocolate nut butter of the healthy and yummy variety- it turned out to be a truffle like mix that can be cut into squares or scooped into truffles. It does of course make a great healthy kids snack.

I made mine salty and sweet like a chocolate peanut butter cup like flavour. You can leave out the salt if you want a completely sweet fudge and you could even thin it with water to make it more spreadable as was intended.

Recipe:

1/2 cup almonds

1/2 cup brazil nuts

1/2 cup cashews

1/4 cup cacao

1/4 cup agave

pinch of salt

2 tablespoons coconut butter (melted)

Method:

Put the nuts in a blender  and blend for 4- 6  minutes until all mixed and on the way to becoming a nut butter. Add cacao and salt and blend a bit more. Add Agave and liquid coconut butter and blend again.

Thin with a little water if it isnt the consistancy you want, blend more :)

Press into a tray for fudge or chill and scoop into balls for truffles or thin and put in a jar for spread. Store in the fridge and try not to eat it all in one go.
