Chocolate Macadamia Nut Butter
My Smallest family member was craving some chocolate spread which I almost never buy and since we had all the ingredients to make a healthy version we thought we would play around with some recipes and it would be faster and more fun than going to the supermarket
What we did in the end was this:Chocolate Macadamia Butter
2 cups raw macadamias
1 cup raw cashews
2 Tbsp raw cacao
stevia to sweeten (you could use some chopped dates, a bit of honey/agave)
Pinch of salt
drop of vanilla essence
hint of cinamon
Put everything in the food processor and process for about 5 minutes. You will have to keep scaping down the sides so it mixes well. The cashew should make it nice and spreadable.
It was really hard not to just eat it all with a spoon but we did manage to get some in a jar and store it in the fridge. Nothing like a healthy kids snack that is so delicious.
I would put chilli in it if it were just for me- and maybe to scare the kids away.
Come in from the gym… eat it from the jar… dont share
