Why Raw Food? For Raw Power!
Food is about energy, taste and nutrition and quite simply raw food packs in more available energy, comes with digestive enzymes so doesn’t deplete your body’s energy to digest and bonus… tastes great.
Raw food is generally food that has not been heated above 40 C/104F so it is usually a whole food or has undergone very little processing.
When you eat raw, organic, local, plant based food then you can be sure you are lowering your ecological footprint on our planet which is fabulous in itself but let’s add to that lowering your risk of diabetes, heart disease and cancer.
If you need more reasons then you could add to that looking more gorgeous and carrying less fat but I cant promise anything, I’m just speaking from experience.
If you want the scientific and boring reasons and you want me to convince you to do it then you’ve come to the wrong place. This is where I put my musings and experiments and you are free to do with them as you will. I haven’t got time to convince anyone of anything and that’s not what I am about.
Here is where I share my love of yummy food and raw food recipes and you, where ever you are in the world can enjoy in whatever way suits you. Please feel free to comment and ask questions. I don’t have all the answers in fact I’m lucky to have any of the answers but I have a curious heart and a restless spirit so we can search together.
